Our Story: A Journey in Sound

Prairie Pulse Studio was born from a passion for the profound connection between sound, well-being, and nature. We started with the vision of creating a sanctuary in Vancouver where ancient sonic traditions meet modern mindfulness practices. Our studio is a space to discover instruments that deeply resonate with the soul, fostering inner peace and a deeper connection to the present moment.

Our Mission: "To provide instruments and experiences that foster inner peace, healing, and a deeper connection to the present moment through sound."

Sarah Chen

Founder & Lead Sound Healer

Sarah's journey into the world of sound healing began over a decade ago after a transformative experience with a singing bowl during a yoga retreat in the Canadian Rockies. A trained musician with a background in ethnomusicology, she dedicated years to studying various sound therapy modalities and the art of instrument craftsmanship. Her passion led her to establish Prairie Pulse Studio, blending her expertise with a heartfelt desire to share the restorative power of sound with her community in Vancouver.

"Sound is the invisible bridge back to ourselves. My greatest joy is helping others find their unique resonance and inner calm through these beautiful instruments and practices."
